L Brands Inc. on Aug. 9 updated its earnings guidance for the second fiscal quarter of 2018 after reporting its net sales in July.
The apparel retailer expects its EPS for second-quarter 2018 to fall at the high end of its previous guidance range of 30 cents to 35 cents per share.
For the four weeks ended Aug. 4, L Brands reported that net sales increased year over year to $849.7 million from $767.7 million. Meanwhile, comparable sales for the month were flat versus the year-ago period.
