Yuanta Commercial Bank president resigns

Chin Chia-Lin resigned as president and a board director of Taiwan-based Yuanta Commercial Bank Co. Ltd.

Yuanta Financial Holdings Co. Ltd. Chief Compliance Officer Chuang Yu De replaced Chin on the unit's board, according to Jan. 31 stock exchange filings. Chiu Wen Ching replaced Chuang in the chief compliance officer role at the parent company, effective Feb. 1.

The resignation of Chin as bank president is effective after obtaining approval by the bank's board, effective Feb. 1.

Liberty Times noted in a same-day report that Chuang will also replace Chin as the bank's president. Yuanta Financial said in a filing that it has no comment on the news report.
