Maturity date of certain State Street debentures to be extended

The scheduled maturity date of State Street Corp.'s floating-rate junior subordinated debentures due 2037 will be extended from June 15, 2037, to June 15, 2047.

Also, the final repayment date of the debentures will be extended from June 1, 2067, to June 1, 2077.

These will take effect June 15.

The Boston-based company on June 12 notified U.S. Bank NA, as indenture trustee, that it intends to exercise its option to extend both the scheduled maturity date and the final repayment date of the debentures.
