NN Group NV has received approval to take sole control of Czech insurance company Aegon Pojištovna a.s., currently owned by Aegon NV

The Czech Office for the Protection of Competition announced Oct. 9 that the deal had been approved.

Aegon announced the sale of the Czech unit to NN Group in August, with the €155 million transaction also including its business in Slovakia. The deal is expected to close in early 2019.
