Altura secures additional US$15M for Western Australian lithium mine

Altura Mining Ltd. said Sept. 11 that it arranged an amendment deed for additional funds of US$15 million for its namesake Altura lithium mine in Western Australia.

The terms of the amendment deed are on par with the existing US$110 million senior secured loan note facility executed in July 2017.

The additional funds will ensure efficient ramp-up toward nameplate capacity at the property and advancement of ongoing work on the second stage expansion to 440,000 tonnes per annum in the first half of 2020.
