Yamaha Corp. said June 5 that its wholly owned subsidiary Revolabs Inc. has changed its name to Yamaha Unified Communications Inc., effective June 1.
The musical instruments maker said the change will clearly indicate Revolabs' relationship with the Yamaha group. The move is also in line with the company's goal to accelerate its unified communication business.
Revolabs, which was established in 2005, develops and markets wireless microphone systems, remote conferencing systems and other unified communication products. It was acquired by Yamaha in 2014.
