Global View Q3 profit climbs 47.0% YOY

Global View Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the third quarter was 33 Taiwan cents per share, an increase of 47.0% from 23 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was NT$20.9 million, an increase of 47.0% from NT$14.2 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 35.5% from 27.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 13.3% on an annual basis to NT$59.1 million from NT$52.1 million, and total operating expenses fell 19.7% on an annual basis to NT$37.8 million from NT$47.1 million.

Reported net income rose 11.6% year over year to NT$60.5 million, or 96 cents per share, from NT$54.2 million, or 86 cents per share.
