Gogo Inc. appointed Oakleigh Thorne as the company's new president and CEO.
Thorne replaces Michael Small, who reached a mutual agreement with the Gogo board of directors to step down from his roles as president, CEO and a director of the company.
Thorne, who has been a director of the Chicago-based inflight internet company since 2003, previously served as CEO of Thorndale Farm LLC, the family office of the Thorne family, which also happens to be the biggest Gogo shareholder, with an ownership of about 30% of the Gogo's outstanding common stock.
