Como Co. Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Sept. 30 amounted to ¥3.84 per share, a decline of 7.3% from ¥4.14 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥13.8 million, a decline of 8.3% from ¥15.0 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin fell to 1.0% from 1.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue climbed on an annual basis to ¥1.33 billion from ¥1.31 billion, and total operating expenses increased from the prior-year period to ¥1.30 billion from ¥1.28 billion.
Reported net income grew 8.3% on an annual basis to ¥13.0 million, or ¥3.63 per share, from ¥12.0 million, or ¥3.31 per share.
