Target Corp. said May 31 that its same-day delivery service will be rolled out to six more U.S. states during June.
The service, which is offered through the Shipt delivery platform that Target acquired in December 2017, will launch in Illinois on June 7, starting in Rockford and adding other cities on June 14.
The retail giant will also begin offering same-day delivery June 14 in select metro areas of Kentucky, Wisconsin and Indiana, as well as St. Louis.
Meanwhile, in Ohio, launches across several cities are scheduled for June 14, 19 and 21.
An annual membership is required to use the delivery service. Target is offering a discounted fee of $49 to new members in these areas who sign up before the service launches, compared to the regular $99 annual fee.
Target debuted the service in February in Alabama and Florida before expanding to Colorado in early May.
