Techstars, Harlem Capital launch JV for diverse founders

Startup incubator Techstars Central LLC and New York-based venture capital firm Harlem Capital Partners launched a joint partnership focused on recruiting and investing in diverse founders.

The Techstars Includes partnership aims to increase diversity and inclusion by investing in minority and female entrepreneurs across global entrepreneurship communities.

Through Techstars Includes, Harlem can access Techstars D&I affiliate program, which will allow it to refer diverse founders to Techstars mentorship-driven accelerator programs, quicken their application process and increase deal flow between founders and Techstars' network.

Techstars plans to connect Harlem to over 500 diverse-led startups in its alumni network over the next five years while also supporting Harlem's mission to invest in 1,000 diverse founders over the next 20 years.

Harlem Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in minority and women founders in the U.S.

Techstars is a global network whose founders connect with entrepreneurs to help them grow their companies.
