Ahold Delhaize repurchases shares worth €35.1M

Koninklijke Ahold Delhaize NV on May 14 said it repurchased 1,678,018 of its common shares at an average price of €20.95 apiece, or a total consideration of €35.1 million.

The retailer bought back the shares from May 6-10.

The transactions are part of the Dutch grocer's €1 billion share buyback program announced in November 2018.

To date, Ahold Delhaize has repurchased 21,283,400 common shares for a total consideration of €474.7 million.
