CACI International fiscal Q2 profit climbs 21.5% YOY

CACI International Inc said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended Dec. 31, 2015, amounted to $1.20 per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of $1.15 per share.

EPS climbed 19.7% year over year from $1.00.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $29.6 million, an increase of 21.5% from $24.3 million in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin rose to 3.6% from 3.0% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to $830.4 million from $815.4 million, and total operating expenses came to $775.0 million, compared with $767.9 million in the prior-year period.

Reported net income increased 23.6% on an annual basis to $30.4 million, or $1.23 per share, from $24.6 million, or $1.01 per share.
