Alexander & Baldwin director will not stand for re-election

Jenai Wall will not stand for re-election to Alexander & Baldwin Inc.'s board of directors at the upcoming 2019 annual meeting of shareholders.

Wall, who is the chairman and CEO of Foodland Super Market Ltd., which was founded by her father, cited increasing proximity between that business and Alexander & Baldwin, along with possible concerns about independence and conflicts of interest, as the reasons for her decision.

Wall's decision was not due to a dispute or disagreement between Wall and the diversified real estate investment trust on any matter relating to operations, policies or practices.
