General Electric grosses €1.25 billion from debt offering

General Electric Co. raised gross proceeds of €1.25 billion from an offering of 1.875% senior unsecured notes due May 28, 2027.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital and investment in securities.

Barclays Bank PLC, BNP Paribas SA, Citigroup Global Markets Ltd., Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Ltd., Deutsche Bank AG's London branch and Merrill Lynch International were the lead underwriters.

Banca IMI SpA, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA, Banco Santander SA, Bank of Montreal's London branch, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank SA, HSBC Bank PLC, ING Bank NV's Belgium branch, Lloyds Bank PLC, Mizuho International PLC, MUFG Securities EMEA PLC, SG Corporate & Investment Banking, SMBC Nikko Capital Markets Ltd., Royal Bank Of Scotland PLC, Toronto-Dominion Bank and UniCredit Bank AG also served as underwriters for the offering.
