Serbia gets 4 nonbinding bids for Komercijalna banka

Serbian Finance Minister Siniša Mali said the government has received four nonbinding bids for Komercijalna banka a.d. Beograd, which is being privatized, SeeNews reported.

It came after Serbia agreed to buy the 34.58% stake held in Komercijalna by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and IFC Capitalization Fund, raising its stake in the lender to 83.23%.

The selected buyer will be able to acquire the government's entire stake in the lender, according to the report.

In August, Serbia extended to September the tender deadline to submit nonbinding bids to purchase the government's stake in Komercijalna.
