The Carlyle Group is acquiring the remaining office condominiums at the six-story 866 United Nations Plaza in Manhattan, N.Y., from Meadow Partners for about $218 million, reported The Real Deal, citing sources.
The deal for the 70 office condos, comprising approximately 340,000 square feet of rentable space, was financed by Deutsche Bank, the report said. California-based System Property Development partly occupies the 471,000-square-feet building.
Meadow bought the Plaza, located at the base of two 32-story residential towers, for $200 million in 2013, according to the report.
Representatives for Carlyle and Meadow declined to comment, the report said.
