LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE has appointed Sophie Brocart as CEO of fashion and perfume brand Jean Patou, according to an Oct. 11 post on the French luxury goods conglomerate's LinkedIn page.
The announcement comes more than two weeks after the company tapped French fashion designer Guillaume Henry to revive the fashion label.
It also follows LVMH's acquisition of a majority stake in the brand previously owned by U.K. personal and beauty products manufacturer SA Designer Parfums Ltd.
Brocart currently serves as senior vice president of fashion venture at LVMH and as CEO of the group's British brand, Nicholas Kirkwood Ltd. LVMH will name a new CEO for Nicholas Kirkwood shortly, the announcement added.
"Along with the talented creative director Guillaume Henry, Sophie will relaunch this emblematic Maison, which has marked the history of fashion and perfume," LVMH Fashion Group Chairman and CEO Sidney Toledano said in a statement.
