KB Kookmin Bank raises US$300M from sustainable bonds

KB Kookmin Bank said Oct. 17 that it issued US$300 million of fixed-rate three-year sustainable bonds with a coupon of 3.763%, Yonhap News Agency reported.

It was the first issuance of sustainable bonds by a South Korean bank.

According to a KB Kookmin Bank official, central banks and sovereign wealth funds participated in the capital raising.
