Italian seasonally adjusted industrial production dropped 0.4% in April over the previous month, down from a 0.4% increase in March , the National Institute of Statistics said June 12.
The calendar-adjusted industrial production index, in volume terms and excluding construction, grew 1.0% annually, down from a 2.8% rate of increase the month before. The unadjusted annual increase was 6.5%.
Production slipped 0.1% during the quarter ended April compared to the prior quarter. The calendar-adjusted index for the four months to April grew 1.5% over the previous corresponding period.
