Camino Minerals Corp. said June 14 that results for the final three step-out diamond drillholes completed on the Katty and Adriana zones of the Los Chapitos copper project in southern Peru showed the two zones are connected and form a single system that is over 1,500 meters long.
Interpretation using ground magnetic surveys revealed that the Katty structure forms the northern limit of Adriana and may extend further to the southeast and northwest. Adriana remains open to the northwest, with soil geochemistry survey results indicating potential for the zone to continue another 300 to 500 meters.
Katty and Adriana are part of the larger Diva Structural system, which has been traced on surface for more than 6 kilometers. Drill highlights include 12.5 meters grading 0.74% copper including 3.0 meters grading 1.26% copper and 7.6 meters grading 1.34% copper including 4.5 meters grading 2.02% copper.
