Whitehorse Liquidity Partners III pulls in US$2B

Whitehorse Liquidity Partners held the final close of Whitehorse Liquidity Partners Fund III at its US$2.0 billion hard cap.

The Canadian private equity firm is focused on providing structured liquidity solutions to the alternative asset class.

Fund III, which had an initial fundraising target of US$1.5 billion, received commitments from insurance companies, public and corporate pension plans, family offices, financial institutions and individual investors.

Kirkland & Ellis was legal counsel to Whitehorse and Fund III.
