* Barclays PLC. added six new employees to its private banking business in Zurich, with three of them appointed to help with the launch of a new Israel desk. Amit Ben Sira, who will be head of the new Israel desk, and three of the new hires most recently worked at Credit Suisse Group AG, Reuters reported.
Julius Bär
* Julius Bär Gruppe AG appointed 10 former Credit Suisse wealth managers to build its Portuguese business out of Madrid. José Maria do Cazal-Ribeiro took over as market head for the country, Reuters reported.

* British asset manager Columbia Threadneedle Investments said Mark Burgess, its chief investment officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and deputy global chief investment officer, is leaving after serving at company since 2010.
William Davies, global head of equities, will take over as chief investment officer for EMEA and report to the company's global chief investment officer, Colin Moore.
Credit Suisse
* Credit Suisse named Guillaume Bonnel head of sustainable and impact products. Bonnel will be based in Zurich and report to Marisa Drew, head of its impact advisory & finance department, and Steven Bates, head of investment product management, within the investment solutions and products division. Bonnel joins from Banque Lombard Odier & Cie SA, where he served as head of impact investing since October 2016.
Helen McDonald joined Credit Suisse as the U.K. head of foundations and impact advisory services. Based in London, McDonald will report to impact advisory & finance head, Marisa Drew and Credit Suisse (UK) Ltd. CEO Christian Berchem. McDonald previously led charities, foundations and social investing at UBS Group AG.
Additionally, the Swiss lender appointed James Gifford to the newly created role of head of impact advisory. Gifford will be based in Singapore and report to Marisa Drew and Bernard Fung, who is head of wealth planning services for the Asia-Pacific region. He joins from UBS Group's wealth management division, where he was head of impact investing.
TP Icap
* TP Icap PLC appointed Amir Zaidi as global head of compliance, effective September. He will be based in the company's New York office and report to Philip Price, executive director and group general counsel.
Zaidi joins from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission where he was most recently serving as director of its market oversight division.
BlackRock
* BlackRock Inc. named Sebastien Herzog as operations director for the France, Belgium and Luxembourg region. Herzog is a 20 year veteran of AXA SA's investment management unit, where he most recently served as CFO and general secretary, Reuters reported.
