Glen Eagle secures high-grade ore supply for Cobra Oro gold processing plant

Glen Eagle Resources Inc. secured a supply of high-grade ore for its Cobra Oro gold processing plant in Honduras.

The ore will be sourced from Compania Minera Moloncosa SA's underground mine that has been operating for more than 30 years. Glen Eagle said March 12 that it hopes to entice more small miners to bring their ore to the plant.

In September 2018, Glen Eagle reached an agreement with Inception Mining Inc. to process the latter's high-grade ore contained in sulfides that cannot be heap leached.

The plant reached commercial production in April 2017 after the company upgraded its capacity to 150 tonnes per day.
