Coca-Cola grosses €2.00 billion from debt offering

Coca-Cola Co. raised gross proceeds of €2.00 billion from an offering of floating rate notes due 2017.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital, investment in securities, redemption or repayment of debt securities, acquisitions or investments, and repurchase of securities.

Barclays Bank PLC, HSBC Bank PLC, Merrill Lynch International and Morgan Stanley & Co. International PLC were the lead underwriters.

Banco Santander SA, Standard Chartered PLC and U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. also served as underwriters for the offering.
