TICC Capital received $134M from portfolio sales in Q1'17

TICC Capital Corp. bought about $47.6 million in portfolio investments from Jan. 1 to March 30, while selling off or being repaid about $134.1 million from its portfolio investments in the same period.

The company's purchases included additional investments of about $19.8 million in existing portfolio companies and about $27.8 million in new portfolio companies.

TICC Capital disclosed in a regulatory filing that it used about $24.5 million of the proceeds to pay down the class A-1 notes issued by TICC CLO 2012-1 LLC. The additional proceeds have been added to the company's cash account and its restricted cash account, which can be used for the next scheduled pay-down of the class A-1 notes in May.
