Natra S.A. said its normalized net income for the second quarter amounted to a loss of 3 euro cents per share, compared with a loss of 4 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of €1.5 million, compared with a loss of €2.0 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 1.7% from negative 2.4% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled €85.0 million, compared with €85.7 million in the prior-year period, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to €83.2 million from €84.5 million.
Reported net income totaled a loss of €3.0 million, or a loss of 6 cents per share, compared to a loss of €4.3 million, or a loss of 9 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
