Woori Financial Group issues 500B won of contingent capital securities

South Korea's Woori Financial Group Inc. issued 500 billion won of contingent capital securities, The Chosun Ilbo reported Oct. 11.

The bonds were priced with a coupon of 3.32%.

Combined with an earlier offering of contingent capital securities in July, the latest issuance will raise Woori Financial Group's capital ratio by 45 basis points, the publication reported.

As of Oct. 10, US$1 was equivalent to 1,190.81 South Korean won.
