Tyson Foods grosses $1.35 billion from debt offering

Tyson Foods Inc. raised gross proceeds of $1.35 billion from an offering of 3.55% senior unsubordinated unsecured notes due June 2, 2027.

The company plans to use the proceeds for redemption or repayment of debt securities and acquisitions or investments.

Barclays Capital Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and RBC Capital Markets LLC were the lead underwriters.

Credit Agricole Securities (USA) Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Mizuho Securities USA LLC, MUFG Securities Americas Inc., Rabo Securities USA Inc., U.S. Bancorp Investments Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC also served as underwriters for the offering.
