German bank N26 GmbH said June 12 that it will open a Barcelona office Sept. 1 as it seeks to expand operations and staff.
It currently has offices in Berlin and New York. The Spanish unit will focus on product development and technology and the local team should reach more than 100 people by 2019-end, N26 said.
CEO Valentin Stalf said in April that N26 is seeking further expansion in the U.S. and the U.K. in 2018.
