AAPICO Hitech Q4 profit climbs 73.3% YOY

4912407 said its fourth-quarter normalized net income was 29 satang per share, an increase of 76.6% from 16 satang per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 90.7 million baht, an increase of 73.3% from 52.3 million baht in the year-earlier period.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 2.3% from 1.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined on an annual basis to 3.93 billion baht from 3.99 billion baht, and total operating expenses decreased from the prior-year period to 3.84 billion baht from 3.89 billion baht.

Reported net income rose 82.2% year over year to 142.9 million baht, or 45 satang per share, from 78.4 million baht, or 24 satang per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled 1.08 baht per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus normalized EPS estimate of 1.26 baht.

EPS rose 72.3% from 63 satang in the prior year.

Normalized net income was 346.4 million baht, an increase of 70.7% from 202.9 million baht in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue totaled 15.14 billion baht, compared with 14.99 billion baht in the prior year, and total operating expenses came to 14.64 billion baht, compared with 14.61 billion baht in the year-earlier period.
