H-One fiscal Q1 profit falls YOY

4914057 said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 amounted to ¥9.07 per share, a decrease of 72.7% from ¥33.17 per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was ¥257.5 million, a decrease of 68.2% from ¥809.1 million in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin fell to 0.6% from 1.8% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue declined on an annual basis to ¥42.13 billion from ¥44.00 billion, and total operating expenses fell on an annual basis to ¥41.42 billion from ¥42.68 billion.

Reported net income fell 88.9% from the prior-year period to ¥125.0 million, or ¥4.40 per share, from ¥1.13 billion, or ¥46.16 per share.
