Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. and coffee products maker Keurig Green Mountain Inc. on July 2 announced the board of directors for their new merged entity, Keurig Dr Pepper.
The Keurig Dr Pepper's 12-member board will be led by Lambertus Becht as chairman. Becht also serves as chairman of personal and beauty products maker Coty Inc. and German conglomerate JAB Holdings BV. Other JAB Holdings officials appointed to the combined entity's board are partner and CEO of JAB Holdings Olivier Goudet, JAB senior partner Peter Harf and partner and head of business development Anna-Lena Kamenetzky.
Other directors added to the board are the merged company's CEO designate Robert Gamgort, Dr Pepper Snapple Group President and CEO Larry Young, current Dr Pepper Snapple Group director Pamela Patsley, Mondelez International Inc. Chairman and CEO Dirk Van de Put, BDT & Co. Managing Director Genevieve Hovde, Executive Vice President & General Counsel of Mondelez Inc. Gerhard Pleuhs, former Barilla Holding SpA CEO Robert Singer and former global president of Mars Inc. Paul Michaels.
The appointments are effective on the closing of the merger, which is expected July 9.
Dr Pepper Snapple and Keurig on June 25 unveiled the leadership team for their merged entity. The merger is set to create a U.S.-based beverage giant with about $11 billion in annual sales.
