Neste inks 12-year wind power purchase agreement with Fortum

Oil refiner Neste Oyj has agreed to purchase 70% of the electricity output from Fortum Oyj's Kalax wind farm in Finland under a 12-year contract.

The agreement covers more than 60 MW of generation capacity, which corresponds to about 20% of the electricity consumption at the Neste Porvoo and Naantali sites.

The Kalax wind farm is under construction in Ostrobothnia, Finland. First power is expected in early 2021.
