New Mountain Finance files $250M shelf

New Mountain Finance Corp. filed a prospectus for the sale of up to $250 million of securities that it may offer from time to time.

The filing covers common shares, preferred shares, subscription rights, warrants and debt securities.

New Mountain Finance intends to use any net offering proceeds to invest in portfolio companies, temporarily repay debt, pay operating expenses and distributions to shareholders, for general corporate purposes and for other working capital needs.
