EQT Partners AB announced the promotion of six directors to partners, effective Jan. 1.

The persons promoted were Singapore-based Brian Chang and Stockholm-based Victor Englesson, who are part of the firm's middle-market group, and New York-based Stephen Escudier, who is involved in the firm's credit investment strategy.

Carl Johan Renström, Magnus Tornling and Matthias Wittkowski, who are based in Stockholm, Oslo and Munich, respectively, were also promoted and are focused on the firm's equity investment strategy.

The private investment firm also hired Lyle Fong and Johan Svanström as partners to the EQT Ventures advisory team. Both executives will be based in London.
