China Industrial Securities International Financial plans main board move

China Industrial Securities International Financial Group Ltd. is seeking Hong Kong stock exchange approval to transfer its listing to the exchange's main board from the Growth Enterprise Market, or the secondary board.

The company said June 11 that it filed an application with the stock exchange the same day. The company's shares have been listed on the stock exchange's GEM platform since Oct. 20, 2016. China Industrial Securities International Financial said the move will boost its image and profile, strengthen its recognition among investors and improve the trading liquidity of its shares.

The move will not have an impact on the nature of the company's business or any issuance of new shares, the company said.

China Industrial Securities International Financial is a unit of Industrial Securities Co. Ltd.
