March 21

ServisFirst Bank Chief Credit Officer Don Owens is retiring, effective March 31.

Owens will hold a part-time role at the Birmingham, Ala.-based bank for the remainder of the year.

Wichita, Kan.-based Equity Bancshares Inc. named Craig Anderson executive vice president and COO, and Craig Mayo executive vice president and chief credit officer.

Anderson most recently served as president of commercial banking for the Eastern region of UMB Bank NA, while Mayo is a former executive vice president and chief credit officer of Investors Community Bank.

The appointments take effect March 26.

Bill Dudney stepped down as president of Elizabethton, Tenn.-based Citizens Bank, but will continue to serve as a director, the Johnston City (Tenn.) Press reported.

Dudney is succeeded by Larry Estepp, who previously served as executive vice president of commercial lending of the Citco Community Bancshares Inc. unit.

March 20

De Witt, N.Y.-based Community Bank NA Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer Brian Donohue is retiring, effective June 2.

Joseph Serbun, the company's senior vice president and chief credit officer, will take over most of Donahue's responsibilities.

Montana-based First State Bank of Shelby appointed Brice Kluth president, according to Cut Bank Pioneer Press.

Brice Kluth is replacing Byron Kluth, who will remain chairman and CEO of the Prairie Bancshares Corp. unit.

Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bancorp Chief Operations and Technology Officer Aravind Immaneni is leaving the company for "personal reasons."

Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Jude Schramm will lead the IT organization, effective April 2. He previously served as chief information officer of GE Aviation.

March 19

Monica Sylvain was appointed executive vice president and chief diversity officer of Lafayette, La.-based IBERIABANK.

Vera Primm was appointed CFO of McKenney, Va.-based Touchstone Bank, replacing Philip Cardwell.

Primm previously held the same position in South Hill, Va.-based Citizens Community Bank.

March 16

J. Adam Sothen resigned as executive vice president and CFO of Southern National Bancorp of Virginia Inc. and as CFO of unit Sonabank to accept a position at another company.

Sothen's resignation took effect March 19, but he will remain in an advisory capacity through April 2.

William Lagos will serve as interim CFO. He was previously director of special projects for the McLean, Va.-based company and chief accounting officer of both entities.

Eureka, Calif.-based Redwood Capital Bank Executive Vice President and CFO Fred Moore III has resigned.

Vice President and Controller Renee Byers will serve as interim CFO.

March 15

Stephen Ulenberg will retire as executive vice president and chief risk officer of Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Great Western Bancorp Inc. and unit Great Western Bank, effective June 15.

Ulenberg is planning to return to New Zealand.

Billings, Mont.-based First Interstate BancSystem Inc. Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Kevin Guenthner is resigning, effective March 23.

Dana Dow was appointed president and COO of Springfield, Ill.-based Town and Country Bank.

Dow previously served as a senior officer of the bank and the president and CEO of unit Town & Country Banc Mortgage Services Inc.
