Creightons fiscal H2 profit falls YOY

Creightons PLC said its normalized net income for the fiscal second half ended March 31 amounted to £163,750, a decline of 17.6% from £198,750 in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

Total revenue climbed 8.2% on an annual basis to £10.4 million from £9.6 million, and total operating expenses climbed 9.1% year over year to £10.1 million from £9.3 million.

Reported net income declined 17.4% on an annual basis to £262,900, or 0 pence per share, from £318,310, or 1 pence per share.

For the year, the company's normalized net income totaled £297,500, a gain from £294,380 in the prior year.

Full-year total revenue grew 9.0% from the prior-year period to £21.1 million from £19.4 million, and total operating expenses increased 9.3% year over year to £20.6 million from £18.8 million.

The company said reported net income grew 79.6% on an annual basis to £850,170, or 1 pence per share, in the full year, from £473,410, or 1 pence per share.
