Gaming revenue on the Las Vegas Strip tumbled 6.05% in October, which began with an Oct. 1 mass shooting at a concert that left 58 people dead and 546 wounded.
Strip casinos generated $528.7 million in revenue in October, down from the $562.7 million collected in October 2016.
Statewide gaming revenue rose 0.27% to around $988.7 million, from $986.1 million in October 2016.
Year-to-date, gaming revenue on the Las Vegas Strip is up 1.80% at $2.21 billion, while statewide revenue is up 3.76%, at $3.96 billion.
