Kroll affirms Aviation Capital Group ratings

Kroll Bond Rating Agency affirmed Aviation Capital Group LLC's issuer and unsecured ratings of A, with a stable outlook on the ratings.

The rating agency considers the company's stand-alone credit profile to be A-, reflecting the aircraft lessor's strong market position, experienced management, demonstrated shareholders' support from majority shareholder Pacific Life Insurance Co. and additional equity support from Tokyo Century Corp.

Kroll said Aviation Capital Group's strengths are balanced by its need for additional equity to obtain continuous significant growth, the industry's cyclical nature, potential credit issues of airline customers and event risks.
