J-Group Holdings Corp. said its normalized net income for the fiscal third quarter ended Nov. 30, 2015, amounted to a loss of ¥3.05 per share, compared with a loss of ¥5.63 per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of ¥24.4 million, compared with a loss of ¥45.0 million in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to negative 0.7% from negative 1.3% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue totaled ¥3.33 billion, compared with ¥3.35 billion in the year-earlier period, and total operating expenses fell year over year to ¥3.35 billion from ¥3.46 billion.
Reported net income came to a loss of ¥130.0 million, or a loss of ¥16.26 per share, compared to a loss of ¥63.0 million, or a loss of ¥7.88 per share, in the year-earlier period.
