Community Capital Bancshares chairman retires

John Ventulett Jr. retired as chairman of Albany, Ga.-based Community Capital Bancshares Inc. and unit AB&T, effective during the annual meeting May 22.

Director C. Richard Langley has also retired. Ventulett and Langley, both founding board members of the bank, reached the bank's mandatory retirement age this 2018.

Ventulett, who was elected as chairman in June 2017, is an independent insurance agent and businessman. Meanwhile, Langley is an attorney and civic leader, according to a press release.
