Anadarko halts production at 2 Gulf of Mexico facilities ahead of storm

Anadarko Petroleum Corp. temporarily halted oil and gas production at two of its facilities in the Gulf of Mexico, as the company continues to monitor the weather conditions in the area.

The company also said it removed personnel from its Horn Mountain and Marlin facilities ahead of the storm, according to the company's Sept. 3 weather update.

All of Anadarko's other operated and producing platforms remain on production.

Anadarko is a Texas-based petroleum and natural gas exploration and production company.
