Waud Capital Partners LLC appointed Phil Olson principal of business development, effective Dec. 14.

Olson, based in Chicago, will focus on identifying investment opportunities within the company's business and technology services vertical.

Previously, Olson served as a managing director at William Blair & Co., where he focused on technology.
