Tupperware CFO to retire in March 2019

Florida-based Tupperware Brands Corp. said Oct. 10 that Michael Poteshman will retire as CFO and executive vice president in 2019.

He will continue to serve until March 1, 2019, in accordance with the housewares manufacturer's financial closing process for its fiscal year.

Poteshman originally worked for Tupperware's former parent, Premark International Inc., starting in 1993. Following the spinoff of Tupperware into a separate company in 1996, the executive held positions there including head of investor relations, treasurer and group CFO in Europe before assuming his current CFO role in November 2003.

The company said it has started looking for a new CFO and will work with executive search firm Spencer Stuart to consider both internal and external candidates.
