Bioalpha Holdings Q3 profit climbs 7.0% YOY

Bioalpha Holdings Berhad said its third-quarter normalized net income was 1.8 million ringgits, a gain of 7.0% from 1.7 million ringgits in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin fell to 15.0% from 19.9% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew 41.6% on an annual basis to 12.1 million ringgits from 8.5 million ringgits, and total operating expenses increased 61.6% year over year to 9.3 million ringgits from 5.8 million ringgits.

Reported net income rose 9.0% on an annual basis to 2.8 million ringgits, or 1 sen per share, from 2.6 million ringgits, or 0 sen per share.

As of Nov. 22, US$1 was equivalent to 4.42 ringgits.
