Investcorp raises $400M for 4th tech fund

Investcorp Bank BSC announced the final closing of its fourth technology fund, the Investcorp Technology Partners IV LP, with $400 million in total committed capital.

The latest fund received support from individual investors, family trust investors and a "significant financial commitment" from Investcorp, among others, according to a Dec. 19 news release.

Other limited partners in the fund include HarbourVest, Nationwide Pension Fund, Unigestion and the Harry-Anna Investment Fund.

The fund will be used to invest between $25 million and $50 million in European-headquartered technology businesses.

Investcorp said it has already completed four investments through the fund in companies, including a human resources software provider, a cloud solution company, an online marketplace and an online network management software.
