Former Ind. credit union CEO sentenced to 27 months in prison

District Court Judge Philip Simon sentenced former Lakeside FCU CEO Sandra Santay to 27 months in prison for bank fraud.

Santay was also ordered to pay restitution of $491,169.71.

Santay was convicted of defrauding the Hammond, Ind.-based credit union out of $491,169.71.

The credit union was liquidated in 2015.
