Torex gold production climbs 29.9% YOY in Q4'19

Torex Gold Resources Inc.'s gold production for the fourth quarter of 2019 grew 29.9% year over year to 125,150 ounces at its El Limon-Guajes gold mine in Mexico.

For the full year, Torex produced a record 454,810 ounces of gold, compared to guidance of 400,000 to 460,000 ounces.

Fourth-quarter 2019 production fell 10.3% compared to third-quarter output of 138,100 ounces. In releasing third-quarter 2019 production results, Torex had guided for a strong fourth quarter.

Torex's gold sales in the fourth quarter were 126,910 at an average price of US$1,480 per ounce. For the year, Torex said gold sales were 449,330 ounces of gold at an average price of over US$1,405/oz.
